Their free time is mostly spent relaxing, watching cartoons on tv and dvds of such classic movies as "It's a Wonderful Life"(not just a Christmas movie;)), and such recent classics as the Harry Potter movie series which both of them enjoy. Kate loves computers and designing her own web sites, which she does in addition to singing. Recently Kate lost a lot of weight on Weight Watchers, and created a website about her weight loss journey.
Kate and John were married in 1997, and live happily with their four cats. They have no children, preferring the four-legged kind.(Below are from left to right, Cassandra, Aradia and Figaro. Craela, the new cat as of December, 2005, is shown below the three cats.)
